Makeup Art Cosmetics Haul/Swatches!

I loveee this collection with all of the bright colors! But I did end up skipping quite a few items that I had originally wanted. The cocomotion pigment wasn't as pretty on as it was in the pot. The in the gallery quad colors were just kind of generic and nothing special. And most of the eyeshadows were too bright for what I normally wear, so here's what I got:

Push the edge Pigment

From left to right: Maira's Mood & Purple Shower

Artistic License

They had run out of alllll of the eyeliners except for the blue one, but I'm going to go back for Graphblack, Full of Fuchsia, and maybee Obviously Orange. I also kind of want the Off the page eyeshadow too! uh oh... Anyways, as always thanks for reading! Follow me <33

What did you guys get from this collection?

ILLAMASQUA!!!!

I have been wanting Illamasqua since before it came to sephora.com & I just couldn't justify paying that international shipping fee and such. Well, coincidentally the next few days I found out it was coming to sephora.com. Well, I don't really like buying makeup online without seeing the colors & such so I was like bummer, well I guess I'll just buy it online. THENNNNN, I see that it's coming to some sephora retailers before Christmas. And although it's not coming to the sephora nearest me, Illamasqua is coming to the sephora nearest my sister where she just moved!! SOOOO EXCITED! So I thought I should share what I want!

WARNING: I wish I was rich enough to get everything [trust me, I would] but, I can't so here are some things I want. ANDD sephora can only have a certain amount of sku's from each brand so everything from Illamasqua isn't on sephora.com check out their website for everything! I might end up buying some creme eyeshadows from their website because they don't sell it on sephora.com :[

Eyeshadows $20
Their eyeshadows look SOOO pigmented. We will have to see when we get into the store to swatch! The colors I want:
-Angst
-Fatal
-Fiasco
-Intense
-Wolf
I wish I could own all of them :[

Blushes & Cream Blushes $23
Blushes!
-Beg
-Lover
Cream Blushes!
-Rude
Sealing Gel $12
This product looks really unique & a must try! It's a sealing gel that you put over your powdered products so they last all day!

Nail Polish $14
I've heard nothing but good news about these nail polishes. Enough said!
-Baptiste
-Grab
-Milf
-Muse
-Wayward
And I will probably see more in person that I like! uh oh...

Pigments $24
Wow.
-Incite
-Fervent

And, I'm really tempted to try out their Cream Foundation, Liquid Foundation, and Primer. Just because I'm always looking out for that perfect foundation but that might have to wait until I get all of these items :] So overall, I'm super excited for when they get Illamasqua in because I hear that it could be the next "mac". I really like the unique packaging on this line, but I wish they came out with palettes because I loveee palettes :] And it might be kind of hard to store, but we'll see :]

I'm actually kind of scared to go into Sephora once they get Illamasqua in because I might just end up walking out with everything! So as you can probably tell, I am going to have to save up big time for when they get this line in.

Do you think you guys will get anything from Illamasqua? What do you think of this line?

All of the information & pictures can be found by clicking the collection and it will direct you to temptalia.com :]

8/27 - Jin Soon Choi [Nail Polish]
8/27 - Flirt
9/24 - Style Black Collection
10/12 - D Squared

First off let me say, I CANNOT WAIT UNTIL D SQUARED! But let's start from the beginning
Here's my little wants list for each collection:

Jin Soon Choi
-
Delicious; For Fun
-Beyond Jealous
-Cool Reserve
-Dance All Night
But I'll have to check them out in person if they haven't changed their formula for this collection, because as we all know, their formula sucks!

Flirt
This collection is purely dedicated to eyelashes, and I honestly don't need any. But we'll see :]

Style Black Collection
-
Volcanic Ash Exfoliator
-Grease Paintstick
-214 Brush
As for the nail polishes, I'll have to see them in person. Everything looks so cool in this collection, but I feel it's more for the pros because honestly, black lipstick? I wouldn't wear that on a daily basis. haha

D Squared
-Nude Rose Lipstick
-Fuchsia Fix Lip Conditioner
-Bright Blue Violet Grease Paintstick
-Bright Yellow Blue Grease Painstick
-BOTH sculpt and shape powder duos
-165 Brush
OMG! Can this collection come any sooner? I basically want everything! I'm so happy the sculpt & shape powder duos are coming back because I missed them the last time! I might stock up :]

So those are the collections that I'm aware of as of right now. Tomorrow, I'm going to get the makeup art cosmetics collection :] I'm so excited! So expect haul/swatches!

Drugtsore Quads [Rimmel Vs. Covergirl]

I have a couple videos coming up on my youtube account [www.youtube.com/themakeup101 - go subscribe :]] on looks using a couple drugstore quads. I said that I would do a comparison on the two and really....I'm not going to do a video on it because these two are COMPLETELY different in texture, payoff, everything! But out of the different trios, quads, whatever at the drugstore. I would have to say that these two are my all time favorite.

It's really hard to describe their differences, than if you were to really try them out. The Rimmel quad is sooo creamy and really easy to blend! The colors are really soft, so their very wearable wherever you go. In fact, the first day I wore this quad my sister told me how much I'm getting better at blending - and I think I have to thank Rimmel for that! Seriously, I love this quad!

But, then that brings us to the Covergirl trio. I've owned this one for quite awhile. In fact, I think it was one of the first makeup items I got when I was first getting into my hard core addiction [haha]. I choose this one, because it had all of the neutrals and of course they have so many other ones with colors and they even have individual eyeshadows, which is pretty cool too! But, for the longest time, it just kind of sat in the back of my eyeshadow drawer because it is really shimmery. But I recently brought it out once I go the Rimmel one to compare. No comparison here! The Covergirl trio is way more shimmery than the Rimmel, but it is wearable and I do like shimmer! Again, it is really easy to blend which is a plus but the consistency is way different. I don't want to say it's not creamy, but it doesn't come off creamy like the Rimmel one does.

Okay, enough rambling. Overall, I think you're just going to have to go out and try it. I really do recommend both of them and I will continue to use them on a day to day basis. Both brands are drugstore so they are reasonably priced & they come in a variety of colors. I'm not sure of the price, but I want to say the are around $5. I even got my rimmel one 40% so I think I ended up paying like 2 or 3 dollars! Look out for those bogos or sales :]

I don't know if you're going to be able to tell, but the Rimmel is creamier to the touch rather than the Covergirl. I really like them, and keep an eye out for the tutorials coming with these drugstore quads/trios! I cannot say enough how much I like these, you should try them!

What's you're favorite drugstore eyeshadow? What brand do you prefer? And have you tried these, what do you think? Let me know :] I love hearing and learning!
